The future role of the Sheriff's office will include an expansion of the current office space in the courthouse. As the county grows, so do the needs for law enforcement and positive community efforts at controlling crime. History shows that our role will not diminish and that we must furnish our county with more educated and better trained deputies to deliver the services that we are assigned. We must be better prepared in equipment, knowledge, and abilities. To sustain a society that allows free enterprise, democracy, and to stay out of harm's way, we will continue to stress these very basic elements of expectation for our personnel.
